TOMMY MOONEY
Told he’d never walk or talk, Tommy has spent his life proving otherwise. Since joining the Spartans, he’s lost 70 lbs, boosted his deadlift from 135 to 308 lbs, and earned multiple gold medals. Coached by his mom Ani, he continues to defy limits with heart and determination.
“teddy”
MATT GRAHAM
Once bullied for his autism, Teddy found strength and belonging through powerlifting and the ABC Spartans. Now proudly tattooed with the team logo, he’s earned multiple Olympic golds — recently squatting 390 lbs and deadlifting 424 lbs — chasing his dream of becoming the “World’s Strongest Powerlifter.”
“muscles”
MATT RASMUSSEN
After surviving leukemia as a toddler, Muscles shattered every expectation. Joining the Spartans gave him friendship and purpose — and the chance to show his true strength. Now an Olympic silver medalist, he continues to train with unstoppable intensity and spirit.
“the big show”
BRANDYN MORGAN
The team’s “young buck” and resident comedian, Brandyn’s been showing his strength since age five. Mentored by fellow Spartans, he’s chasing gold while bringing laughter and heart to every lift — once even losing a match on purpose to spare
an opponent.
“how’s your day”
MAX JACKOSKI
Bullied in his youth, Max turned his positivity into purpose — creating How’s Your Day (8k members) and his nonprofit Max’s Buddies, raising over $200K. After joining the Spartans with his friend Sameeh, he earned a medal at the 2024 Summer Games. “The Spartans created a safe haven for all of us,” says his mom.
